AA Boost Camp Summer 2018

WHAT

Advanced Academic Boost Camp is a program designed to assist those students who are taking a College Board Advanced Placement (AP) course in high school for the first time or are enrolled in an Honors 10 class.  The goal is to give our Advanced Academic students the necessary skills to be successful in their upper level courses. Reading, note-taking, time management, organization, critical thinking and study skills will be the focus of this camp.

WHEN

There will be four sessions of AA Boost Camp to choose from.

  • Session 1: Monday, July 30 and Tuesday, July 31 - from 8:00am-10:30am,  at Washington Irving MS. This will focus on AP Calculus and Honors Math
  • Session 2: Monday, July 30 and Tuesday, July 31 - from 11:00am-1:30pm,  at Washington Irving MS. This will focus on AP English ( Literature and Language) and English  Honors 
  • Session 3: Wednesday, August 1 and Thursday, August 2 - from 8:00am-10:30am,  at Washington Irving MS. This will focus on AP/ Honors Sciences 
  • Session 4: Wednesday, August 1 and Thursday, August 2 from 11:00am-1:30pm,  at Washington Irving MS. This will focus on AP/ Honors Social Studies

PRICE

FREE!!! This AA Boost camp is free of charge, however registration is necessary.   Snacks and supplies will be provided for students who participate.

HOW TO REGISTER

To register, simply click HERE and fill out the online form.  Please submit the application as early as possible as registration will close on Friday, July 13, 2018, to ensure that all materials can be ordered to run the program. Applicants after that point will be put on a wait list, and we will we not be able to accept walk-ins.
