Although the West Springfield area was not home to famous historic figures like George Washington and George Mason, or the site of Civil War battles like Chantilly and Dranesville, it might seem on first glance that our area doesn’t have much history. However, if you look a little deeper, you will find people, stories, and events that we feel are every bit as rich with history.
