Congratulations to Sam Donnelly Jonsson  who was named our West Springfield Pyramid Outstanding Secondary Teacher of the Year.  Mrs. Jonsson is often revered as one of the hardest working teachers at West Springfield High School. She strategically uses each of the FCPS Ignite Goals to challenge students to be better versions of themselves.  Mrs. Jonsson has served as the department chair for the Career and Technical Education department and our Leadership teacher.  She has shown great strides helping the CTE department develop content and making sure each teacher has a voice in the building. Mrs. Jonsson fosters an environment for nurturing those around her. It is inspiring working with such a dynamic teacher who continues to set the bar high and pushes every student and teacher she comes in contact with to be better. Congratulations Mrs. Jonsson, good luck at the Regional Level.
