District Five Virginia History Day

On Saturday, March 2^nd twenty-nine West Springfield students competed at the District Five Virginia History Day competition at Mount Vernon High School. Over eighty projects were entered in the senior division this year, and fifteen West Springfield students placed in the top three in their category. Congratulations to the following students:

The 1^st and 2^nd place projects will continue on to the state competition on April 27^th at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture in Richmond, VA.
