Superior Ratings for all orchestra ensembles

District XI’s Orchestra State assessment took place at Westfield HS on March 15-17.

The purpose of this state  assessment is to provide orchestra directors and their ensembles for self‐assessment, but also provide technical and instructional guidance, both in an individual and cooperative learning environment from 4 adjudicators who have never seen or heard them play before. It’s also a time where we as an ensemble showcase musical achievement before their schools, administrations, families and the community at large.
